Victor Merlo has been a contractor of concrete flatwork for over 25 years. His work includes footings, garage floors, driveways, porch steps, porch caps, sidewalks, and patios. He specializes in decorative concrete using stencils, color hardeners, and acid stains.
Victor was the first concrete contractor in WNY to use the system of stenciling concrete. Victor works often with homeowners and also does high-end commercial projects such as the Buffalo Chop House. His work on the interior floor of the Buffalo Chop House resulted in a nomination for "The Outstanding Use Of Concrete Award" from the American Concrete Institute.
Victor personally consults with the customer on every job and works with his crew on every project. Victor has a keen eye for the lay out of projects and has an endless bank of creative ideas.
Victor is certified through the American Concrete Institute as a Flatwork Technician and a Concrete Field Testing Technician. He is a member of the Better Business Association and is a graduate of the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the University of Buffalo. Victor is constantly educating himself by attending seminars. He works with the most current techniques available on the market. He is a regular attendee of the World of Concrete trade show. Victor Merlo Construction is licensed and fully insured.
